Ironman UK Charity Funds Support Bolton Food BankCharity funds raised by Rotary Charity Fundraisers who take part in Ironman UK at Bolton were donated to Storehouse, one of the two Bolton food banks on Saturday 3rd August at the Horwich Asda, Middlebrook. The cheque for £667 was presented by Ted Wisedale the President of RCF Host Club the Rotary Club of Horwich to Dave Bagley the CEO of Urban Outreach (Bolton) who run Storehouse and Linda Gallimore an Asda Community Life Champion. New Rotary Club President Starts His Year Off With a 1,000 Mile Cycle RideThe incoming President of the Rotary Club of Thrapston and Raunds is starting his year off in spectacular style. Just six days after he takes office as the clubs new president he will be setting off on a 1,000 mile cycle ride from Land's End to John O'Groats for charity as a Rotary Charity Fundraiser. ‘Red Rats’ Charity Cycle Team from 849 Naval Air Squadron Honour their Fallen ComradesThe 14 member ‘Red Rats’ team from 849 Naval Air Squadron, including the CO, set off from RNAS Culdrose on Monday 18th March. The 400 mile charity cycle finishes at the National Memorial Arboretum on Friday 22nd March.
